You Were Never Meant to Do Postpartum Alone

The weeks after birth can feel intense and overwhelming. You may be exhausted, emotional, unsure of yourself, or struggling to balance recovery with caring for your baby.

The Doula Circle is led by Christine, an experienced postpartum doula who has spent over a decade supporting families through this vulnerable and life-changing period.

Christine offers calm, hands-on support so you can rest, recover, and feel supported as you adjust to life with your baby.

This is not about doing more.
It is about being cared for while you heal.

A tender moment of postpartum support

What Support Looks Like Day to Day

Postpartum doula care is practical, emotional, and deeply personal. Christine tailors every visit to what you need in that moment.

Baby care so you can rest

Caring for your baby so you can sleep, shower, or simply have a quiet moment to yourself.

Nourishing meals and snacks

Preparing wholesome food to support your recovery and keep you fuelled through the early days.

Light household support

Reducing the mental load with gentle help around the home so you can focus on healing.

Emotional support

A calm, compassionate presence without judgement or pressure — someone truly in your corner.

Gentle, empowering guidance

Honouring your instincts and choices — not telling you what to do, but helping you find your own way.

You do not need to know what you need yet. Christine will support you in figuring that out.

This Support Is For You If

  • You feel overwhelmed, emotional, or exhausted after birth
  • You want support without advice overload
  • You do not have family nearby
  • You want to feel more confident and grounded as a parent
  • You want someone to care for you, not just the baby

If you are wondering whether you need support, that is usually a sign that you do.

It’s Okay to Be Supported During Postpartum

Postpartum recovery is not something to push through. It is a time that deserves care, rest, and support.

Having a postpartum doula does not mean you are not coping.

It means you are choosing to be supported during a time that matters.

Meet Christine

Bayside Melbourne Postpartum Doula

The Doula Circle is led by Christine, a Bayside Melbourne-based postpartum doula with over a decade of experience supporting families and mothers during the early days of parenthood.

Christine’s journey into postpartum care began long before becoming a doula. In her twenties, while living overseas, she spent many years working closely with families as a nanny, often supporting mothers through the raw and emotional weeks after birth. During that time, she noticed something that stayed with her.

So much attention was given to the baby, while mothers were often left feeling unseen, overwhelmed, and unsure of where they fit in this new chapter.

That understanding, combined with Christine’s own experience of becoming a mother, shaped her calling. Today, her work centres on caring for the mother — offering emotional presence, practical help, and gentle reassurance when it is needed most.

Christine’s approach is warm, grounded, and judgement-free. She meets you where you are, listens deeply, and supports you in a way that feels right for you and your family.

We are so grateful to have had you by our side as we made the transition from one to two. Your calming nature, kindness, and unwavering support helped me to feel more confident and capable. You made such a difference during a time that has previously been overwhelming and exhausting.
